Dishwasher won't start

When trying to start dishwasher, it won’t run unless Options button (on front of door) is pushed and held. Once the options button is release, the dishwasher stops.

Thanks for your response. As it turns out that the connection wasn’t very good on the black wires ( at the bottom). So now it is running again. But we took the door apart in effort to find out what was wrong. And when we put it back together the door on the soap dispenser won’t catch or if we manage to make it catch, it doesn’t release during the wash cycle. Is there a trick to putting the door back together? Thanks

Have you removed the timer while taking the door apart?

Thanks again for your reply. No, I don’t think the timer was removed but we did unplug the switch cycling switch (PS260245) Thanks

Turn the soap dispenser lid all the way to close position and keep it in this position while putting the inner door panel back in place. Make sure the timer is in "off" position.
