Dispenser control panel is not responding, light off

My GE refrigerator (ESS22XGMDBB) water/ice dispense system is not responding and the control panel light is permanently off.
Please Help.

either the disp board is bad or the mother board is. Check the MB by removing it there is usually visable damage to it from dispenser board
