Part No. w10195934 I replaced the door latch. It broke again. A piece of the plastic part that controls the oven lights broke off and now the lights are on all the time. I don’t want to spend the money changing the door latch again since I will be cleaning the oven manually from now on. However, the oven won’t heat. Is that because of the door latch or is it the thermal fuse or both? Can I just remove the two wires that connect to that part of the door latch and tape them up. Will the oven work then? Is it safe?
