Is it possible to reverse the hinges and handles on this particular Freezer model by Frigidaire so that the door opens from the right side of the freezer? Thanks… Gary
I cannot find any info on the given model number, please check it.
I tried AppliancePartsPros, Frigidaire and Sears
Perhaps someone else will have more luck.
Usually if the unit has a holes to move the top hinge and bottom hinge over to the other side.
And the holes on the other side of the door (top and bottom) for the hinge.
And holes for the handle on the other side. This depends on the type of handle.
Then it should be able to be switched.
Usually the above holes will have pop out plastic caps covering them.
Thanks for the response…Yes, I checked for the extra holes to move the hinges and handel to the other side…There are none on this model.
I also checked the model number and could only find it listed this way GLFH21F8HB. The parts page has listings for models…GLFH21F8HBA, HBB, HBC, and HBD. None of these show a reversable door. it may be because there is a digital display on the door.
I was hoping that there may be door parts that i could order and modify to effect the door reversal. Anyone have any experience?
Thanks,
Gary

If the holes are not there, the door cannot be reversed.
You do not have anything re: tapped holes under the sheet metal to attach the hinges.
