Dryer Heating but not drying

I have have the heating element , the termostat, some fuses and other work done on the dryer nothing works. The vent line in the dryer and wall are clear. It will heat but doesn’t seem hot enough. It gets very moist and water drips down the front of the dryer even though I do an extra spin in my new washer and the clothes are not very damp at all when I put them in the dryer. The are more moist after an hour of drying than they were when I put them in. When I first got the dryer it dryer great for the first time but then didn’t so I bought another dryer same problem worked great on the first time but not so much after that. Could it be the electric line leading into the dryer? It is one of those 3 prong electric dryers. The breaker is a double 30. I don’t know much more about the electric than that. Any ideas or help would be greatly appriciated. I don’t want to go buy a new dryer if my electric is just gonna fry the dryer. It also seems to get very hot in the panel area of the dryer on the left side in the back which is where the start knob is.
thanks

A make and model number may help others help you.

Unplug the unit and disconnect it from the vent system.
Now try a run.
If it now dries OK odds are the vent system needs checking/cleaning.
Be sure to check that the louvers on the outside of the house open correctly.

If you do not want any lint in the house.
Take a pair of pantyhose.
Put one leg into the other and then attach this to the dryer’s vent.
Leave enough room so the pantyhose can balloon out like a windsock.

Both the above will let you check the temperature and the air flow.

Note: The above is not recommended for gas dryers due to carbon monoxide concerns.
