Hi all. I recently had my dryer not work at all. Figured out it was the thermal cut off fuse. I replaced that, along with the thermostats as the dryer was taking 2 cycles to dry a load. Everything was working great until today. Now after a cycle it isn’t remotely dry.
I ran the dryer with the door open so I could see the heating element through the back off the dryer. It comes on for about 40 seconds then shuts off for about 3.5 to 4 minutes. It seems like it should cycle or stay on longer.
I’m thinking heating element is the problem but would it come on at all if it were bad?
The lint screen and vent are clean btw
