I have a Maytag LDE610 Electric Dryer that the drum won’t start turning and it hums. I can give it a "push" by hand and it will start turning and will run and dry. Got any idea what the problem is ? Motor?

Given the huge discounts on new dryers now in the stores your Accounting backgound should lead you to conclude that replacement is the way to go.
