As the title mentions, I have a problem where my dryer is leaving burn marks in our clothing. It seems that the issue is that sometimes, an article of clothing will get stuck in the upper front of the dryer, between the drum and the inside wall. As the drum rotates and the article of clothing is stuck there, a burn mark develops. So, researching these symptoms, I’ve found that i may need to replace one or both of these parts:
front felt glide assembly
rear drum bearing kit
Would anyone here know where I can find some instructions on how to install these items for my specific gas dryer? It’s a Frigidaire, Model 417.59012890.
