i have just recently bought and replaced a dryer motor in my kenmore stackable. and i have this wierd smell like something is burning but i dont think its actually a burning smell can anyone help me? and tell me if there is any additional info u might need. ok so here is a little more about my problem. this is my first dryer repair,my dryer model # is 11098573120 and i replaced it’s motor with one that i gotten off this site. ok so i took out the old one and installed the new one (model number ap3094245). almost hassle free except for the fact that getting the fan motor off.but finally i conquered it. snaped in the wire harness and thought i was good to go. after i ran the first load i noticed a wierd smell what i can only come up with as the motor burning up. is this whats happening ?
