Dryer no heat, new igniter

My dryer runs but no heat, the control panel works as expected. I follow this forum and have found that the igniter was bad (open). After replaced new igniter, it still has no heat. The igniter does not glow. I’ve checked the continuity of cycle thermostat, high limit thermostat, thermal fuse, flame sensor, they are good - I unplugged the igniter, connect volt meter and then start the dryer, there is no 120v at the igniter connecter (where I connect the voltmeter to). I also checked the thermistor, it showed 0 ohm (continuity) at room temperature, I don’t know for sure if it is good or bad. Please be advised what else I should check or what part should be replaced? The other thread has mentioned about heater relay, I don’t know where the heater relay is located.

Hello theoldtowne. If the igniter does not glow, you will need to check for a open flame sensor, igniter, shorted booster coil, open wiring, or a bad board. Since the fame sensor and the igniter are good, you will need to look for a broke or loose wire on the unit. Test and see if the control board is sending power to the igniter. If not, you will need to replace the control board. If it is sending power, then you may have a shorted booster coil. Hope this helps.
