After trying to get my dryer to start when it wouldn’t, I was finally able to get it to run when I bypassed the buzzer in the control panel. I dried one load of clothes and then the start switch no longer worked [checked continuity, switch went bad]. Is there any reason bypassing that buzzer should damage any circuitry? Any suggestions for totally fixing this situation?
