I just replaced the circuit board in my Kenmore Elite Dryer because it would not run without holding the start button down, no heat, and the timer was not advancing. Everything seemed to be working fine after the board was replaced yesterday except that the timer once it gets to the Wrinkle Guard II setting stops advancing and sticks in the Wrinkle Guard operation indefinitely instead of timing out after 40 minutes. I plan on replacing the timer or could the replacement board be bad that Sears sent me??? Does the board have any effect on the time not advancing???
