Dryer Will Not Heat, But All Parts Test OK

Fridigaire Gallery dryer stopped heating last week. Light turns on, drum turns.

Performed all suggested tests today:

  • Outlet is getting 240v,
  • Dryer is getting 240v at the power supply,
  • The thermistat’s continuity is fine (~0.07 Ω),
  • The heating coil’s continuity is fine (~20 Ω)…

What else could it be?

trace the voltage from whee i comes in the back of the dryer to the element and see where the voltage drops out, there will be your problem
