dryer wont spin

ongoing issues with this dryer.

few weeks ago it stopped heating. would spin, but no heat.
continuity checked out fine for thermostats and heating coil, turned out to he the control board (faulty relay)

Bought a new control board here swapped it worked great for a week.

Today the dryer shuts off 1 second after starting.

If i select "no heat" option the dryer will spin, but when i select low, med or high heat it starts, spins for 1 second and shuts off.

diagnostic error code seems to he a 95 but i cant find any info on that.

any help is much appreciated.

thanks

Hello,

Perform the test described on the first page of the attached tech sheet and post the results.

Post the end of the model number.

Gene.

thanks Gene,

I did that test and unless I am reading it wrong I am getting an error code 9 - 5

Full Model # is feq1442ces-0

There are no such error codes listed.

I would like you to redo this test and post the results as well as step by step description on how you did it.

Gene.

hopefully you can d/l or view, or let me know if there is a better way to send this to you.

thanks for all the help its much appreciated!!!

Sorry for the delay.

It looks very strange to me either.

I would recommend to check the thermistor (#15 at the diagram). The normal reading suppose to 50K ohms ± 10%.

Gene.

No worries Gene, I appreciate any help i can get.

I did swap the thermister a few weeks ago as i thought that may have been the issue with it when it was not heating, so it is new… I didn’t get a continuity reading from that before.

curious what would cause that to blow?? if i have gone through 2 in a matter of weeks then i assume i have a bigger root problem.

thanks

Check the thermistor again but do it from the control boar by measuring resistance between the terminals J2-4 & J2-5 at the control board.

Post the results.

What is the part number of the control board you installed?
