Dryer won't start

I’m not to sure on the age of the dryer, but I have the model number. I went to dry a load of laundry, and when I hit the start button, it didn’t start… I checked the plug and everything is plugged in. I unplugged, and replugged. It makes the ticking noise for the timer, and also makes a loud buzzing noise, like somethings jammed. Not sure what the problem is, or how to fix it… Please help!!!
