Electric Dryer will not heat

Hotpoint DLB3400SBLWH, s/n TL241558H, not sure age of dryer.
Electric dryer will not heat. Checked 5 therostats for continuity, checked heat coil for continuity, all checked zero resistance.
Resistor & board # WE4X799 did not show continuity, replaced it, new resistor does not show continuity either, so I guess it’s doing what it was supposed to do, resisting. Wasted $13 and now stumpted.
Any suggestions? Any secret tricks with this model?

The first thing I would do is verify 240 VAC to the dryer. While the motor needs only 120 VAC (one leg) to run, the heating element requires 240 VAC (two legs).
