Electrolux Dryer LED light testing

The dryer drum LED light quit working, it does not light up anymore. Is there a test I can perform on the LED (p/n 134695000) assy itself to determine if it is bad? I have checked continuity across the leads but get infinite resistance so not sure of correct reading since this is an LED component. Also, the outlet limiter switch went bad, I was getting Error code 66, so I have the dryer disassembled waiting for the new switch and I am not sure if the LED problem will be fixed when I put in the new switch. I noticed the LED not lighting when the E66 code started but am not sure if the two problems are related somehow.

Not sure about this particular LED but the following should help.

It should conduct in one polarity and not in the other.
You may have to try sevaral meter resistance ranges.

Could be you were just using too low of a resistance range.

There is a lot of info out there just Google "how to check a led with a meter"

Thanks denman! Using my multimeter on the diode range worked, the LED lit up so that is not the issue. I checked the door switch and it works fine so I guess I will wait until I install the new outlet thermal limiter switch and reassemble the dryer to see if that fixes the problem somehow as the only other connection to light is from the control board.
