Had a problem with the plumbing at my home and the stand pipe overflowed on top of the washer. The washer was working fine until the water im sure got into the controls. I am now getting a F11 code which is an electrical code. I thought about taking the top off the machine and blowing some compresses air onto any of the controls that look wet. The machine will start breifly but the F11 code appears pretty quickly. I also noticed a big delay in the starting of the machine. It would start quicly after the staqrt button was pressed, but now it takes some time.
If you take off the bottom panel you should find a tech sheet with trouble shooting procedures. See if you can go through them and if so, they may tell you what the problem is.
It is likely the problem is in the motor control board, but it can also be in the central control unit. Either way you are looking at expensive parts, and given the uncertainty of the diagnosis, unless you can pinpoint the problem I am afraid a replacement machine is in order.
You might check with your homeowners insurance agent/carrier and see if you have some help there.
Good luck.
