I was reading other threads on how to check the evaporator fan for my GE side by side refrigerator/freezer, and they are excellent troubleshooting checks. My question is this, if I find that I have to replace the mother board and fan together; what about the thermistor thats attached to the evaporator? Should it be replaced too? The thermistor wiring conector is using the same connector as the fan.
