Evaporator Fan Noise - Fridge 50F

Freezer was cold (30F) but fridge was at 50F. I replaced the relay/overload and the compressor seems to kick on. No more clicking sound either but again, the fridge is not cooling below 50F.

There is no ice or frost on the coils in the freezer. When I the evaporator cover on (back of the freezer), I get a fan vibrating noise - which is what caught my attention. I just bought this unit and after plugging in, I would hear a clicking sound every couple of minutes and then the evaporator fan would kick on and never shut off - the vibrating/noisy fan would be constant.

Now without the evaporator cover on - no noise and I see that the fan kicks on and off but still not cooling as it should. (Just replaced relay switch about 2 hours ago.)

The is little air flow coming from the top vent and not much if any coming from the vent in the mid section. I’ve tried adjusting the slider for Meat/Veggies but I don’t see anything mechanical happening. Also, the interior light switches off and turns on when closing and opening the door.

You think I should replace the evaporator motor? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Since installing the relay/overload - with the evaporator fan cover off - the coils are completely covered in frost and freezer temp is 40F (more or less) and fridge side is 50F.
