Repair diagnosed side by side with frost build up and no cooling on the Fridge side. Hi said the evaporator motor ("AP3845420") would get the fridge working again.
I order and installed the part. In the box there were two white sleeves? and two small blue cylinder shapped parts, but with no instructions, I don’t know where they should be installed.
I was able to replace the motor, but i’m at a loss since the fan is still not own.
Do the blue cylinders and white sleeves need to be installed?
Any help would be appreciated; current living out of a huge cooler.
Thanks

I cannot say for sure but the parts you describe sound like a couple in-line wiring connectors and heat shrink tubing. They are only required if upou have to cut the wires and splice in new connections to install the fan motor.

Check to see if the fan motor is getting pewer (120 volts AC).
If yes, then the fan you received is defective.
If no, then you either have a bad connection somewhere or your control board is shot.
