This frig started make a grinding noise tonight … sounds like a fan. It is not the condenser fan… I took a look and all is well. the noise is up top appeal loader when the doors are open… I need some ideas here as I have no idea what it could be???
Thanks
David
So I turned off the breaker to the frig… and when I turned it back on the noise was gone … and is still gone. Maybe there was a piece if ice in the fan?
How would I know if I have a heater problem??
Ok … the evaperator fan noise is back… so the question is do I have a heater problem aof a fan problem … or both.
Of course I do not wanr to order extra part … but I have to get this done:eek:
Thanks … I will take it apart asap
Well, I finally took the frig apart… and it was just ice builld-up over 10+ years.
Removed ice and lll is well!
- Touched Bake, set Temp to 325.
- When temp reached 325, placed cake in oven.
- Checked oven at 30 minutes, temp was at 260 and never rose.
- Cleared settings, touched bake again, temp 325 and "on" signal came on…to indicate oven was ready.
- Self-diagnostic system never appeared, so I am in the dark as to what the problem is.
The above is my problem, and since we are on a limited budget, I need to fix this myself.
Thanks in advance for your attention to this problem.
My daughter put a metal pan in the microwave. Now the timer, clock, fan, light, etc. work, but it doesn’t heat. Is it the fuse and if so how do I, a novice, replace it?
