The flow plate assembly appears to have a filter membrane of some type. Can this membrane become clogged with mineralization? Can it be cleaned off or do I replace the entire assembly? My wife is at the point of pre-washing the dishes before placing in the dish washer. Kind of a waste of time I think. Any suggestions? Maytag has so far not responded to my questions regarding the filter plate assembly. Thanks
