Fixing Water Dispenser Ran into Trouble

I replaced the water dispenser actuator and when I reconnected the ribbon cable for power it automatically wants ice to dispense. I cannot leave the unit connected now because of this problem. I actually damaged the initial ribbon cable when I did the first repair. The ice dispenser actuator is not depressed. Anyone else run into this please help. I hope its not the circuit board:( :frowning:

Make sure the wire harness is not switched around. Check the micro switch (#38A at the Parts for Frigidaire PHSC39EGSS0 Refrigerator - AppliancePartsPros.com. If there is nothing wrong, replace the dispenser power board.
