flashing pf wont turn on

In the last 5 months after running a cycle the PF light comes on when the door is opened. I clear the fault code and the light goes off but comes back on after another cycle has been run and I open the door to empty the dishwasher. Last night when I went to empty the dishwasher I noticed that the dishes weren’t clean so I attempted to start it back up but to no avail. I push start the light comes on for 1 second then goes out and the PF light flashes intermittently. I have gone out to the breaker box turned the breaker off then back on but that did not help. I can’t get the dishwasher to work.
