Refrigerator is not cooling nor staying cold in the freezer section. Have unplugged unit for half a day and then plugged it back in and it seemed to work for an additonal day but then the problem cam back again. Can you suggest a remedy for this situation?
What stops running when it fails to cool?

I just plugged it in and it seems for some reason the compressor is not kicking on!
I would pull the motherboard out in the back and check for bad solder connections to the big power relay. If ok, probably a bad motherboard AP4436216

[LEFT]I just read power going into the refrigerator. I am getting no power to the compressor or capacitor. I went to the motherboard and read power to the LINE connector and found 120V there but nothing at the COMP connector. I also read the motherboard from the LINE connector to the N connector at the pan heater and read 120V there also. I did jumper J11 LINE to J8 COMP with the connector disconnected and the compressor did kick on. Is there anything else i can check and does this model have a compressor relay? If so, where is it located? Do you still think the motherboard is bad?
I also just looked at the solder joints and it looks as if the solder has melted away from the joint. The card is not black in that area…should i try to apply solder?

Re solder the bad areas on the back of the board.
