I have a Roper fridge/freezer combo. Here recently it stopped cooling in the fridge part but the freezer part is fine. I noticed a lot of water inside the fridge for about a month and a half, and I was just dealing with it. I figured out that the water was condensate coming from the inside of two holes in the top of the fridge part and the holes are foam lined. Yesterday there was ice in those holes, so I defrosted it. After I defrosted it and plugged it back in, still the same thing, not cooling inside the fridge part.
Is the fridge part cooled by the freezer part? Is there some sort of fan the blows down into the fridge part and blocked by the ice? Could a thermostat be the problem here?
Reminder that the freezer is just fine but the fridge is warm.
Thank you for your help!
