freezer not freezing

Hello i have an amana side by side fridge and the freezer is staying warm around 55-60 degrees. mod # ssd25tw ser #9706137008 mfg # p1190316ww; so the fridge stopped working shortly before i had to move so it ended up sitting in the garage of my new house open for 3-4 days. when i plugged it back in it still never got down to temperature. it would get to around 35-40 degrees. i cleaned the coils underneath (which were extrememly dirty), checked the fan in the back it is running (although i heard warm air is supposed to come out and the air coming out is not very warm), and checked the compressor. it is warm to the touch and has a slight vibration as if it is running. i opened up the freezer panel and the fan is running. i noticed there was clumps of frost in the area along and around the top of the condensor coils but only condesation on the bottom coils. i let the freezer sit turned off until the frost was completely gone. plugged it back in and now it wont get below 55 degrees. i thought maybe there was frost built up so i hit the refridgerator door switch four times to run the manual defrost at which point all fans turn off. the fridge seems to run at all times as if it cannot get to temperature so i do not think it is a temperature detection problem. it seems my only other solution is a refridgerant leak but i’ve heard thats kinda rare. i dont know the exact age of my fridge bc i bought it second hand for 120-130 $$. a friend of mine tells me he has the dispenser nozzle to fill the refridgerant but if it is a leak it seems that might be useless. please help and thank you in advance for any help that you can provide.

An uneven frost pattern on the evaporator coils in the freezer does mean a freon leak. It should be even frost on the entire coil. The repair to find and fix the leak and recharge freon would cost more than you paid for it.

My dryer stopped gettig hot so i replaced the ignitor. that worked for a day then the dryer stopped getting hot again. The timer quit working also.if the dryer runs to long will it ruin the ignitor?
