Fridge was warm, now Freezer is!

Hi,
I have a frigidaire top freezer refrigerator. A few days ago I noticed that the fresh food compartment was basically room temp. I believe someone had left the freezer door ajar as there was a buildup of frost in there. I took all food out of the freezer and scraped off the frost. I also took off the back panel of the freezer and found that the airway on the bottom that I assume transfers the cold to the fresh food below was block with ice. I melted the ice and put everything back. Fresh food area now is colder but my freezer is not staying cold enough to keep things frozen! I notice a few drips of water leaking down every now and then. Did I break something!!! Thanks for any help!

Hello Jeff96. Check and make sure the coils inside the freezer behind the back wall are clear of any ice. Also check and see if the drain hole under the coils is stopped up. If so, you will need to clean out the drain line to stop the water from leaking. Make sure the air dam assembly on the back wall of the freezer is installed properly. Hope this helps.
