During a wash cycle, it began leaking water from the bottom of the washer. It agitates and spins but does not empty water through the hose. There is also a burning smell. Help?
It seems like you may have two problems. The first is a leaking tub seal, which is not too difficult a repair.

If the washer will not drain you need to check your pump and hoses for an obstruction. If they are clear, then you need to check the pump to see if power is getting to it. If so, replace the pump, if not you may have to replace the timer.
