I have googled this and saw that the problem is usually something with the motor, either a bad motor, or something stuck in the motor, but I’m unsure of how to proceed with troubleshooting.
Basically, the dishwasher runs perfectly fine for about an hour or so. When there are roughly 30-40 minutes left in the process, it starts squealing VERY loudly during wash. If we open the door quickly, water is dripping from everything, so we know it’s continuing to wash while it does this, but it’s very loud and very troubling.
I’m mechanically inclined, but don’t want to take anything apart until I know what I’m looking for.
If anyone can lend any advice, I’d be much appreciative.
