Panel lights out and blown bi-metal fuse. Replaced BI-metal fuse 2 months ago and blew again a few days ago. Wires into control panel Connector2 P8 and P9 appear melted some as is the same location on control board. Also Conn 1 P2, P3 somewhat burnt or melted.
The circuits connected to these pins according to schematic appear to be the heater section and possibly the motor. Before replacing fuse I followed wires from control board down to heater and checked heater resistance and it was good. Jumping around fuse and panel lights up. Not sure if control panel is bad or heater/motor.
I’m considering replacing Conn2 since it has lots of heat damage and the worst wire is P8-Tan wire to door switch . Assuming no wiring issues I think it is the heater by following the schematic. I am not sure what cycle it stops at since it was run at night on delay but there is still some water left in tub.
Any ideas?
