Frigidaire ER Code?

Hello. We recently purchased a Frigidaire Dishwasher, model number FDB2810LDC2. It will start to wash and within minutes of the cycle it stops and displays ER. This is not consistent, as it will clean all the way through the cycle at other times. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Not sure if the control switch? Thanks
