My front load washer will start, but it is stopping during either the water entering the drum or the washing cycle. I then have to advance it to rinse/spin and it will stop again during that cycle. Finally, I can advance it to spin and it will complete the cycle. Every time it stops it resets to the beginning like I never started it (start button blinking). Any ideas? I can’t really afford for a technician to come out and fix it. So I wanted to try DIY.
Look inside the lower service panel and see if there are tech notes that will tell you how to do some diagnosis and generate error codes. Concentrate on the control unit.
