I have posted before about my leaking water valve and attached an image before as well. The thing is, when the water is seen leaking its when the ice maker and water are not in use. But when I turn the ice maker on, it calls for water and it doesnt seem to leak. As soon as I turn the ice maker off on the inside by lifting the handle. Minutes or so later i hear it call for water and it makes a wierd noise and then it shows water at the bottom from leaking. So basically when i use the water maker or ice maker it doesnt seem to leak. but when the ice maker is turned off it still calls for water and seems to back up causing it to leak. If you remember i talked about part of the valve that appears open, no cap and thats where the water was coming from. Is this something that you have heard of before??
Any idea why it would still leak when the ice maker is turned off and no one is using the water?? But when I turn the ice maker on it seems fine??
Thanks
