Frigidaire Refrigerator door loud "popping"

My Frigidaire refrigerator door is making a loud "popping" sound when opened completely. I believe I have isolated it to be a lower door cam issue.

Can someone advise how to properly troubleshoot the problem to insure that the lower door cam is the issue, and if this is the problem, provide information on how to change/replace?

Most likely there is something wrong with the door hinge and/or the door cam. In order to properly diagnose it you have to remove the door. The instructions on how to do it you can find in the Owners guide (page 6).
