Hi, my upright Frigidaire, FFU20F9GW5, Serial number WB11102523, is not getting cold… Its in my outside garage and I noticed water coming from the front of it with the ‘temperature warning’ light on Saturday.
I removed the inside back wall and there is NO FROST/ICE on coils, the small fan to circulate air works.
The frozen soups/roasts stay frozen but popsicles melt and will not freeze.
The compressor/condensor (black ball looking thing) on the bottom of the unit in the back is very warm, so I assume its trying to work.
What may be the deal?
Defrost thermostat?
Defrost timer?
Bracket timer?
Temperature sensor on inside of freezer?
Please don’t tell me its the compressor!
