How do I get access & remove front-load door lock?
On the newer Frigidaire front loaders, you just remove the top cover, remove the lock retaining screws, and pull the lock out the top.
How do I remove the top? I have removed top on older top-load machines at least 10 times, but this one gives no indication of lifting. Removed the 2 screws from the rear top braces, but don’t know if top held by snap fasteners along top sides or what. Are there parts diagrams available that show how it fastens?
Check the back, it might have a third screw in the middle. Normally, you just remove the back screws, lift up the back and pull back and off.

Yes, you were correct. I was trying to take out the two lower screws which is part of the upper rear support bar. The two upper screws release the top panel as you said and does give access to the door lock.
