Front load washer problem

I have an Amana Washer model # NFW7200TW. It will wash fine, but will not complete the rinse and spin cycle sometimes. It will give me the "nd" error code for no drain. I’ve removed the pump and there was no obstruction. I also noticed that the numbers for my cycles change sometimes ( ie: a cycle that is usually 29 minutes will say 30) when that happens it won’t even start. I ran the quick service test, board output, and board input tests. In diagnostic mode I have gotten the error codes 01 and 22. I replaced the electronic control board (part # W10273828). When I did that it seemed to work fine, thought I fixed it. I was wrong, after about 5 loads it started again with the wrong cycle times, although sometimes it will run completely normal. I ran the service tests again and got the error codes 01 and 8E. Please can anyone help me figure this out, I think I wasted money on the electronic control board, that mine wasn’t bad and it is something else. Please help.

Okay, welcome to the wonderful world of built in diagnostics, which when the work if fine but when they don’t which is often the case with these too complex machines they lead you to buy the wrong parts and to not be able to diagnose the problem.

Professional repair folks fix these things by replacing part after part until they find the combination that fixes things. In your case that can be difficult.

I strongly suspect the door lock mechanism but it could also be a problem with the motor, assuming that the board you purchased was not bad or did not go bad after the five loads. If you buy parts from this site and they do not fix the problem you can return them.
