Front loader washer won't spin

I have a 6 yr old Fridgidaire front load washer. Suddenly the drum stopped spinning. I can turn it by hand freely, and when I took the back panel off, the belt was intact. There was never any foul smell, or odd noises - it just didn’t spin one time. Any advise? I have had many problems with this washer, and don’t want to sink a ton of money into a lemon of a washer, but this seems like it should be a relatively easy fix. thanks
