The washer has an infection!! The smell is more like fermented cabbage or something. It seems to emanate from the bottom of the door gasket area. More bacterial, definitely not moldy. The unit has a filter drain and the water that comes out of the hose is nasty and pungent smelling. After draining it and cleaning the filter, I have rinsed it out thoroughly with hot water until it is clear and odorless. Then 2 days later, the smell is back.I have also tried the Tub Clean cycle (with bleach, as recommended) to no long term avail. Any suggestions? Thanks, Larbo
