The fridge and freezer no longer is getting cold. There is no air blowing and the compressor is not hot. What could possibly be the problem?
If no fans are running, you have a control issue. Tap the temperature controls with a screwdriver handle and see if it comes on. Let me know what happens, please.

Since the fans and the compressor are not running it could be one of two problems.
- A bad control thermostat.
- You are stuck in a defrost cycle.
Instead of hitting the thermostat (item 9 in section 11) just turn the cold control up/down a bit.
If the unit fires up then I would replace the thermostat.
If this does nothing. Turn the defrost timer (item 6 in section 11) cam with a flat screwdriver. There is usually a hole in the cover to let you do this without any dis-assembly.
The turning is better than tapping because tapping may effect both the thermostat and the timer so you cannot tell which one is bad.
