This may be answered elsewhere, but I couldn’t find it. I have an older Whirlpool gas range with spark ignition. While moving it one of the wires came of the knob area and arced. Yes, I failed to unplug it first. Anyway from this point on after placing the wire back on I have no spark on anything, top burners or oven. The clock works, just nothing to the ignitors. Would this have damaged the spark module? I would like to know before ordering a new one and thanks to anyone who might help!!!
Yes, I would replace the spark module. It sends the power to the spark ignitors. One switch being bad, will not make them all not work. Tom http://www.applianceeducator.com
