Gas Slide-in Range - Inside Oven Light Stays On

The plastic wheel on the oven door right hinge broke and the door would not close all the way. Because of this the interior oven light stayed lit. I recently replaced both the left and right oven door hinges with new hinges but the door is still not closing completely and the interior light is on all the time. It looks as if the left side is closing before the right side causing the light switch to not be pushed in enough to turn the light off. If I push the door on the right side (where the switch is) with a few pounds of force, I can make the light go off. Is it the hinges that is causing this and is there an adjustment for the hinges to correct this? Or is it possible that the oven door gasket is interfering with closing? Any advice would be welcomed.
