GE Advantium 200 over range microwave

Microwave will not heat anymore. Everything else seems to be working fine.

My question is:

  1. Could the problem be something simple like a switch?

  2. Is there a way to access components without taking unit down.

I took bottom plate off but everything was still covered by metal housing?
