I have a GE frig. model # GSH25JFRE, the Condensor fan motor is acting up. The fan on the back, bottom of frig behind panel.
It’s currently working, but every now and then(daily) it will start clicking and try to start spinning but will not spin, even if I help spin it. If I unplug the fan from the wiring harness and plug it back in, it will start up. But it keeps happening.
Everything else is fine, freezer temp (-5deg) and refrigerator (30deg). Temperatures are good…
Its almost like the condensor and the fan are trying to come on at the same time, when I unplug the fan, the condensor comes on and then I plug the fan back in and it comes on.
Is it the fan motor itself, the mother board, capacitor, relay or ??
Sounds like this clicking noise is coming from the main control panel on back of fridge, from one of the black boxes on board(assuming to be a relay or capacitor, no idea).
Is it a two speed fan?
Please help with any advise… Need to get it fixed ASAP… THANKS!!
