GE dishwasher fills with water, then drains without washing.

Dishwasher suddenly stopped working properly. I checked and cleaned all drain and water pipes but still seeing the same thing in all cycle types. First it will fill with water to what I believe is the appropriate amount. After filling I hear a click then silence. Shortly after I hear another click and then it drains. After draining I hear what sounds like the wash cycle.
