I have a GE Triton Profile dishwasher PN: GSD5330D01WW
The issue I’m having is :
1.) Either at the end of cycle the water is not completely draining.
or
2.) Water may be seeping back in.
There is always about a 1/2 inch of water left in there.
My dishwasher connects to my disposal under the sink.
I’ve checked the drain hose and it’s clear, The washer drains fine during the wash modes.
Last question: when doing more trouble shooting to I need to pull the entire unit out from under the counter or can repairs be made will the washer is in place?
If there is nothing wrong with the piston & nut, check the drain pump and the valve flopper (#325 & #328 on the diagram). You probably have to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet to access them.
My GE Triton GSD5560G02SS is showing similar symptoms. The water does not drain and the wash cycle never stops. The front lights cycle through and starts over.
I checked the piston and nut and they look fine. I checked the drain hose and it is not blocked. My guess is that the drain pump and/or the electrics (controller assembly?) are broken.
Should I get both parts and try to replace the pump to see if it resolves the issue? Or is is it definitely one or the other?
