ge dishwasher won't drain and hose vibrates

Hi all,

I just moved in to a new (9 years old) house and I’m having trouble with the dishwasher. The dishwasher won’t drain. (GE gld6210l20bb) It leaves about an inch or two of water in the bottom. I checked the hose and was able to drain it by siphoning the water through the hose.

When I run a cycle, the drain hose shakes very hard while draining. I took the hose off while it drained and the water just trickled out.

I tried pressing reset when full and the hose does drain a bit, but not a lot. I have a feeling there is something stuck in the pump, but I’m not sure how to check.

Any suggestions?
