A few days ago, my dishwasher started having this problem. It is not draining out the water after it is done washing.
I have manually removed the water, taken out the "basket" inside the tub, removed all food and gunk (not much). I have removed the drain under the sink, and poured hot water, vinegar and baking soda in it, to see if it would unclog any clog (if present). Nope.
Have had this dishwasher for a few years, no changes made. It is not connected to the compactor nor is connected to the kitchen sink.
Today, I had Mr.Rooter here… He tried to vacuum any clog out, there was none. Tried to run dishwasher (gee, thanks!), and he confirmed the drain cycle was not coming.
What do I do now? What does it look like this may be, and how much will it be to get it fixed? - Help, please!!!
